Proteus -- I am jumping the gun a little on my planned series of articles, but I do have a time frame in mind.

In October I told some colleagues that this fixation would be gone in eight months. So far, I am sticking with that. By June or July we will still be watching Europe, but it will not dominate the market.

Also, the reduction in attention will happen gradually. I am still just thinking out loud, but I do have some reasons.

Good question -- speculative answer!

Even a marathon eventually ends with a winner. Do you think the issues in Europe, even though not resolved, will possibly just fade away from the market's concern as other problems arise?
