Thanks Alisa and David for sharing your sympathy and your thoughts.

Dads are very important.

I am sorry to hear that your father passed away and I am sure I speak for many of your readers when I say our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. I am also sure your father was/is very proud of what you have accomplished and the fact that you have carried on his tradition of being truly knowledgeable in your craft.

Alisa

Happy "Belated" Father's Day to all the dads who are reading this today. I too have a "lesson from dad" that I'd like to share if I may. My dad was a construction worker who struggled to raise five children on a small salary. Though limited by both lack of education and opportunities he never stopped dreaming of what he could accomplish if only he gave it his all. Lessons learned; hold on to your dreams, never let obstacles or disappointments discourage you, reach for the stars and if you land on the tree tops you've still done better then most, and last but not least, don't smoke. I miss you dad. Happy Father's Day!
